Close out the conference with a fascinating conversation between some of today's top film journalists while enjoying our closing brunch meal.

What are ways today's potential audiences learn about movies they should see?
It used to be one or two local newspapers and a weekly reviewed new films and had feature articles or interviews. They often featured revivals and highlighted ones they especially liked. If the film’s talent came to town they might get on a few local TV and radio shows. “Siskel and Ebert At The Movies” became a major influence.

And then it all started to change. There are few print newspapers (The Village Voice went online only in August, 2017) with shrinking audiences. Their online versions are competing with younger/hipper outlets.

But there are literally hundreds of people writing and talking about film. Some know their stuff about and others do not. How does exhibition and distribution help potential audiences find the right information?
